This websites is so much squarish,simple n dark tones.I can see guide is based on main 3 boxes after only divide and insert images.I think title can be bigger and more interesting. Only flat typefaces not much play with typo. They based on two color tones to design a websites for contest, linked is based on same guide.The arrangement can be better.

2nd_website research_em...this website is more about the text,so the typeface for this website is very important.but it wont feel messy because it wont use more than 3 typeface.n the typeface is quite same with family.and the layout is suitable for this website .and the colour is merge with this webpage.
-this is a very normal and usual website.
-the home page quite squares and messy
-the title is not outstanding
